Should I cancel my follow up appointment if I do not adhere to my program?

No, No and No. You should keep all of your appointments even if you are sick, this is the time to get you feeling better. If you are having challenges adhering we need to see you in order to overcome any obstacles.  Be patient with yourself and know that I am here for support and encouragement as well as helping you through any obstacles.

What is your cancellation policy?

I have a very strict cancellation policy. We require 48 hour notice via phone or email if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment otherwise a fee will be charged or a session is counted as used in your program.

Are they any specific populations that you do not work with?

I do not specialize in eating disorders, active cancer, or people that do not want to do what it takes to feel better.

Why would I schedule a no-charge discovery call?

This is a short call to determine if we are the right fit for each other.

What is the difference between a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and a Nutritionist or Health Coach?

A RDN is a nationally recognized credential and a Nutritionist or health coach is not.  Completely different training backgrounds, education, experience and approach to care.  In most states including Florida, you are required to have a degree in Nutrition with 1200 intern hours, ongoing continued education and registration through the accrediting agency Commission on Dietetics.

Do you offer Virtual or Tele-health appointments?

Yes, depending on the state where you reside.  Florida, Arizona, Colorado and California are the allowed states I can offer this service.

Do you take health insurance?

No, however most HSA plans will cover most of my services.

Do you take payment plans or offer financing?

Depending on the services, payment plans and/or financing might be available.
